In memoriam to Ms. Mary Ann Goshima
Kapi’olani Community College lost a generous and valuable alumna Ms. Mary Ann Goshima. Ms. Goshima, a KCC alumna was forever grateful for the college, which provided her with an education. This valuable education provided her with the means to earn a living and take care of her dear parents. So great was her gratitude to the college, Ms. Goshima started many years ago to walk on our campus and collect bottles and cans from our receptacles. She would turn them in for funds and each time she reached a $100.00, she would donate that money to a department or club at KCC. She was always cheerful and quirky and loved by all who knew her at KCC. Kapi’olani Community College was a giving home for Ms. Goshima and in return she gave back to the college. It’s this spirit of ohana that many of our alumni cherish and treasure.
Students! Please check your UH class schedule. We already had a student, who accidentally dropped a class and was unable to add it back because the class was already full.
