Our UH Mānoa LIS Program ʻohana had the absolute pleasure of meeting the one and only Mychal Threets at the 2026 Hawaiʻi School Libraries Conference in Honolulu! Getting to connect with someone who shares such a deep passion for literacy, representation, and the power of library spaces was an unforgettable highlight for our faculty, staff, and students.

The Lang Fellowship is a two-year program open to faculty and librarians at liberal arts colleges and small universities in the United States (i.e., institutions that have 5,000 or fewer undergraduates and do not grant any humanities doctorates). Lang Fellowship applications are due by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, 𝟳 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.
