CTAHR and the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology are exploring the potential of rice farming in Hawaiʻi.

Hawaii has the highest rice consumption rate per person in the country, yet imports all the rice consumed in the state. Through field experiments, we are learning how to grow quality rice in Hawaiʻi’s environment. 🌾 🍚
