🔥TEAM KACHI starting off the year strong at their first local tournament this past Sunday!

🥋Comp Team & Kachi Junior League (KJL) brought their A- game with confidence and courage and left it all out on the tatami. Many divisions were a top 2 - Team Kachi sweep, bringing home the gold & silver!

👏🏼EXTREMELY proud of our team bringing home a total of 25🥇 16🥈 9🥉... Let's continue to STAY HUNGRY & STAY HUMBLE and keep striving to be better each day. The work continues!

My first tournament representing Seino Transportation Co. Ltd.

Felt nerves, but I felt well-prepared for this tournament, and it was all thanks to having such amazing guidance from Wakai-Soukantoku, Shinbaba-Senpai, support from great teammates, and with such a supportive company backing the team up.

Thank you also to my family, my sensei’s, and friends for their loving support. I would not be able to stand here if it weren’t for everyone.

With this tournament, I am qualified to compete in the Tokai Regional Championships, where I get the chance to compete for the ticket to Japan’s biggest sporting event: 国民体育大会 (Japan National Sports Festival).

I am happy but am not satisfied! Time to go back to the drawing boards with the team, and work even harder for the next tournament, the West-Japan Business Championships!

Time to grind even more ✌🏻

These past couple of years have been a long road of learning to adapt and persevere through the challenging times! Team Kachi was able to bring a small team, Senpais Kekai & Jessie, to FINALLY compete in their first tournament since 2019, at the US Open & JIC Championships in Vegas. We were able to bring home 6 medals between the two of them - 1 gold 🥇, 3 silver🥈, and 2 bronze🥉. We are VERY proud of you for all that you have accomplished and hungry for more👏👏👏 Thank you to Senseis Maile & Shannon for their countless hours of training, guidance, love & support, on & off the tatami - their success could not have been accomplished without you. To the Senpais & teammates, for always being a great role model and pushing them to be their best everyday and last, but not least... Mahalo to the parents for your support and all that you do! Next stop, 2022 USANKF National Championships! 👊🥋
