Quando ti accorgi che nella scaletta manca ancora un brano… hai due possibilità:

1.Imparare l’ennesima cover hula.
2. Oppure scriverne una tu.

Io ho scelto la seconda… e, incredibilmente, ci ho messo meno tempo che a cercare e imparare una canzone da zero! 🤭

Venerdì canterò e suonerò a una festa a tema Hawaii e, in questi giorni, la mia vita ruota completamente attorno a questo concerto. 🤣🌴

Per questo ho deciso di portarti nel mood.

Durante la LIVE di lunedì 6 luglio ti insegnerò un brano in stile hula e ti racconterò come ho preparato questo concerto, tra studio, scelte di repertorio e piccoli imprevisti.

E chissà… magari sarà proprio questa la canzone che impareremo insieme. 😉

L’ho chiamata Old Hawaii. È un brano nato per scherzo, è molto semplice, ma dentro ci ho messo un desiderio che mi accompagna da tanto tempo, quello di raggiungere finalmente quelle isole!

E ora che l’ho persino trasformato in una canzone… forse è arrivato il momento di pensarci sul serio!?!???

It’s so wonderful to see how the ukulele and music can bring family friends together. Sammy has already accomplished so many incredible things in and out of school, and we’re thrilled to see Brayden competing in this year’s International Ukulele Competition with his group, the “Heartstrings.” Moments like these truly warm our hearts and remind us the power of shared passions.

It was a gorgeous day so I took advantage of the two seconds of quiet to record outside. On the eve of completing my 8th round of 100 days, I’d like to share encouragement to anyone who has doubted they have the ability to commit to a journey like this. You absolutely can do whatever you put your mind and heart into. It won’t always be amazing or even your best but it matters. We may not have a choice about how life happens but we can always choose how we show up. I believe in you!
