What a closing ceremony! CKTV took home 7 awards! 1st in Short Film and Commercial, 2nd in the Crazy 8’s Short Film and Morning Show, 3rd in Movie Trailer and News Story, and Honorable Mention in Personal Vlog. Great way to end the 2024 National Convention. Froyo is on Mr. M today!!

CKTV is on Oahu for the SHOOTS Summit Hawaii event at Moanalua HS this weekend! Arrived early to visit UH Manoa’s School of Cinematic Arts and where Kaua’i’s own gave us a tour! Got some words of advice from and ! Mahalo for taking the time to talk to our students!!

Congrats to Ash who won 1st in the Forest Inspired category, to Kahena who won 1st in the PSA category, Nico who was a top 3 finalist in the PSA category, and Ari who was a top 3 finalist in the Traffic Safety category for representing CKMS and CKTV at the 2023 Youth XChange video competition! Mahalo to Olelo and all of the sponsors for putting on another spectacular event!!

Congrats to our students for taking home some awards at the Student Television Network National Convention in Long Beach, California!! They won 1st place in Commercial, 3rd Place in Human Interest Feature Story, 3rd Place in Movie Trailer, and Honorable Mention in Crazy 8’s Morning Show! Congratulations to all of our students and all the other award winners from around the country!
