Where faith and learning reflect the character of Christ. Established 1967 The philosophy of our school is rooted in the Word of God.
We believe that a child’s academic, emotional, physical and spiritual needs are best met through Christian training and sound educational principles. WJNS supports the belief that education is a cooperative venture among students, parents, and teachers; the more closely we work together, the more effective our efforts will be.

Aloha WJNS ʻOhana,
We are so grateful for the many blessings that Ke Akua has given us. Our small humble school nestled in this beautiful valley of Nuʻuanu is a hidden gem yet WJNS continues to impact communities and families even beyond the lush valley walls. We will carry on our legacy of educating with aloha and excellence and be a school where faith and learning reflect the character of Christ. Mahalo nu nui for being an integral part of our mission.
After 42 years of faithful, dedicated service to WJNS, we say, “Aloha a hui hou” to our beloved jan ken po Master and 3rd grade kumu, Mr. Allen Nakamura or as he is affectionately called, Mr Naks. We will have an aloha reception for families, students, and alumni to drop by the Worship Center and give their well wishes. We love you Mr. Naks and you will be dearly missed!!!

Aloha WJNS 'Ohana,
Thank you to all who gave and are continuing to donate! As you know, the devastation of the Kona Lows has affected many communities in our state, especially here on our island on the North Shore.
Please swipe to see the list of needed donations headed for the North Shore. You can bring these items to WJNS and we'll make sure that they get to the right place to help those who need it now. Thank you for your support!
In an effort to reduce traffic headed into impacted zones, we are accepting donations here at WJNS and will drop off all donations to for in town collections. Mahalo!
