Our 13th annual spring concert "On Air" is happening at Hawaii Theatre, Sunday April 26th, 2015 at 4:00pm! Come early to hear our Hawaiian Ensemble perform!! In addition to the band, our Percussion Ensemble, the Symphony Orchestra, and Streetlight Cadence, will perform as well!! You won't wanna miss it! Big thanks to the members of the Marine Corps band for playing with us, and to CWO Michael Smith for the narration of Lincoln Portrait! As some of you know, the Parade of Bands event for the high school bands is going on tonight and this weekend. Tomorrow night, at 9pm, we will be making an appearance at the Pearl City Cultural Centrer for Parade of Bands. If you're in the Pearl City area, stop by and get an exciting PREVIEW of our Spring concert! Hope to see you there!

On Thursday, April 10th 2014, we got a visit from the Las Vegas Academy band, visiting Hawaii playing at various concerts this past week and this coming weeked! They sat in at our rehearsal as we played eachother's pieces. Check out the photos as we filled the band room to its max capacity!! Mahalo for the visit!

Save the date!! We will be having our annual spring concert on Tuesday, April 29th, 2014 at 7:00pm at Roosevelt High School Auditorium!! Be prepared as we dive into the music of John Williams featuring pieces from Star Wars and Harry Potter!! Do-re-mi? We got that too! We'll also feature tunes from Rogers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music, that includes two tunes NOT in the movie!! What's more? The percussion section will have a featurette of El Caribe! Does this sound exciting?! Head over to Roosevelt High School on Tuesday night at 7:00pm, on April 29th for a night filled with unforgettable music! We hope to see you there!

On Saturday, March 1st 2014, members from the HPU music programs will be participating in the annual Moonlight Serenade concert featuring solo and ensemble repertoire of early classical to Broadway pop. Come on over to the Lutheran Church of Honolulu at 7pm for a night of beautiful music!

The 2013 - 2014 pep band season is over!! The season concluded on February 24th, 2014 at the Senior Night basketball game at the Neal Blaisdell Center. Special thanks to the alumni who attended to jam with us! Please stay tuned for announcements on our upcoming concerts!!
