🌺Silversword Summer Staff Spotlight: Meet Melissa Cline, DrPH, MPH, RDN, CSSD, NBC-HWC!

Originally from Southern California, Melissa brings a wealth of experience. Before joining Chaminade, she taught nutrition, public health, women’s health, multicultural health, and health promotion courses at several California universities.

Her professional journey includes work in hospitals, trauma centers, diabetes clinics, and sports nutrition settings, helping people improve their health through sustainable lifestyle changes.

When she’s not teaching, you’ll find her walking, practicing yoga, gardening, traveling, singing karaoke, dancing, or spending time with her family and cats.

Her message to students:”Learning should be personal. My goal is to create a classroom where students feel welcomed, respected, challenged, and supported as they discover how health connects to their own lives and communities. I believe education is most meaningful when it helps students become healthier, more compassionate, and more confident in their ability to make a difference in the world.”
