As a girls' school for grades 6-12, we aim to educate young women to lead a life of purpose.

The Hawai‘i School for Girls at La Pietra experience is rooted in an environment that empowers students to use their voice, explore their passions, and discover their purpose. Small class sizes and low 7:1 student-teacher ratio are vital to providing students with an intimate classroom setting where they feel safe to engage and participate. Our supportive and connected community is the best place for today’s young woman to fully become herself and to realize her purpose.

Science isn't just something you read about—it's something you do. 🧪 🔬

Our Biology students recently completed their final lab of the year, putting classroom concepts into practice through hands-on learning. Experiences like these in all-girls environments help build curiosity, confidence, and problem-solving skills while encouraging more young women to see themselves in STEM fields. 👩‍🔬

This semester, our World Cultures & Religion class visited , an immersive exhibit presented by and curated by that reframes the cultural history of Waikīkī through art and place-based design. 🌺

Students explored murals and installations rooted in the Hawaiian proverb “Mai ka lā hiki a ka lā kau” (“From the rising to the setting sun”), engaging with stories of Waikīkī’s past and present while bringing classroom conversations to life.

“We are the path we walk.” 🌺 Congratulations to our student yearbook staff on creating a beautiful reflection of the 2025–2026 school year. 📖 This year’s theme reminds us that our journey is shaped by the choices we make, the experiences we share, and the people who walk beside us. 🫶

Long after the school year ends, these pages will stand as a record of the path our students walked together. 💙 Have a great summer, Panthers! ☀️

To wrap up AP Environmental Science this school year, students visited in Kaimukī to learn how a local refill shop is helping reduce plastic waste in our community.

The visit connected directly to the class’s final lessons on plastic pollution, phthalates, and endocrine disruptors, showing how small, intentional choices can make a meaningful impact. 🌎♻️
