WIMAH is an occupational medicine professional organization coordinating the physician community to better serve the injured worker.

What does WIMAH do for Hawaii’s Workers’ Compensation?

• Conducts research and gathers information that promotes best practices in the field of injury treatment, causation and prevention.
• Strives to be the center of collaboration for all stakeholders who care for injured workers in Hawaii including insurance carriers, Hawaii department of Labor, the Hawaii Judiciary, organized labor, other health providers, hospitals and the State Legislature.
• Seeking to find a common ground on the issues to improve treatment availability for Hawaii's injured workers.
