The Honolulu Fish Auction is the anchor of the Fishing Village at Pier 38. Itâs a fresh fish display auction operated by the United Fishing Agency since 1952. It evolved from Japanâs tuna auction system, first introduced to Hawaii in the early 1900âs. Todayâs auction is a modern, state-of-the-art facility and showcase for the industry and is the only fresh tuna auction of its kind in the United States!
