The NSF S-STEM STRIDE program at UH Mānoa is accepting applications for 2026–27. It provides up to $2,000 per semester to undergraduate and graduate students in biology-related programs who have documented unmet financial need, alongside training in data science and AI.

- Up to $2,000 per semester, renewable subject to funding
- Must have 3.0 cumulative GPA, documented unmet financial need, US citizen or permanent resident
- No prior coding or advanced math required
- Scholars complete three online data science and AI modules per semester, attend HI-DSI seminars, and produce a dashboard or research poster

Please join visit the Queen Liliʻuokalani Center for Student Services on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 (9:30am-12:30pm). This event also serves as an Open House for students and the UH Mānoa community to learn about the services within OVPSS and the building.
