Congrats to the Spring 2026 GROW Cohort who did an outstanding job sharing their research and engaging with students at Waipahu Intermediate School on April 30th. WIS students were excited to learn about UH Mānoa graduate student topics such as electricity & engineering, deep-sea corals, vaccines, AI & art, language learning, architecture, connections in history, and bacteria in insects.

GROW is a 3-part professional development series that builds graduate student research outreach skills so they can communicate their research to general public audiences in interactive and engaging ways. Rooted in Research, Reaching Communities!

GROW was co-sponsored by Graduate Division, College of Engineering, UH Mānoa's Hamilton Library, and the Center for Communicating Scientific Information.
