Kūlia Academy students achieved the highest proficiency scores among all middle and high schools in Hawaii, leading in both Math (75%) and ELA (80%) on the Strive HI 2024–25 state test results.

📐✨ What an amazing day at Kūlia!

Ms. Julie Reyes Oda — State Representative, former HIDOE math teacher, and proud Kūlia parent — delivered a hands-on math lesson to our students today! The lesson focused on calculating the volume of cubes and rectangular prisms with fractional side lengths. Students measured real boxes, worked through the math, and had a blast applying their learning in a meaningful way.

It was an unforgettable experience, and our students learned so much. Thank you, Ms. Reyes Oda, for your time, energy, and continued support of our school community! 💙🙌

It was a delight to be with U.S. Army School Liaision Officers at our campus and give them a tour. We discussed how we can improve school choice and access to quality education in Hawaii 🏝️🎓
