🌿 Now Hiring: Field Technicians for the Hawaiʻi V.I.N.E. Project 🌿
Interested in ecology, conservation, restoration, or field research? The Hawaiʻi V.I.N.E. (Vertebrate Introductions & Novel Ecosystems) Project is hiring full-time Field Technicians on Oʻahu starting between August–October 2026!
Work alongside researchers from UH Mānoa, the University of Wyoming, NAU, and UIUC studying seed dispersal, invasive species removal, bird behavior, and forest restoration in Hawaiʻi’s mesic & wet forests. Duties include invasive plant removal, vegetation surveys, bird point counts, game camera deployment, and behavioral observations in the field.
🌱 Full-time, 6-month commitment
🌱 $16/hr + optional crew housing & shared vehicles

🌱 Bachelor’s degree in biology/ecology/natural resources or related field required
