Life guard ‘perch’. Love it. The beach is not the beach without it. The first generation of Hawaii beach boys offered visitors lessons in surfing, paddling and Hawaiian culture. Shout out to all our ‘beach boys’ who protect and serve our beach community. Mahalo for all you do!

One day at a time.
It's tough to stay motivated when you keep hearing words like furlough, lay-off, quarantine, social distancing, shutdown, COVID, isolation, masking....The new normal is not so normal. BUT this too shall pass.
Your thoughts are your actions, so if you think about progress and positivity, you'll experience this. Imagine sitting in a boat, in the water, in a tropical paradise, surrounded by palm trees and then make it happen. Imagine success and freedom and make them happen. Imagine what ever you want to happen. Make this a daily practice.
We will get through all of this, but you have to believe it and see it. Be say and stay positive!

Sometimes a place just gets you. Hawai'i is that place. Here you'll experience self-discovery, acceptance, love, peace and balance. It truly is unique. You've all heard the word 'aloha' whenever Hawai'i is mentioned. Well aloha is not just a noun, but it's a verb, an action, a spirit, a living thing....You see it in people, in nature.... everywhere. It's one of the few places in the world where you can be alone, but never lonely. You have not lived until you've been here! Happy Sunday.

Did You Know: The surfboard concept as we know it was developed in Hawai'i. The sight of native Hawaiians streaming across waves on giant wooden boards was recorded as early as 1777. The first Alaia and Olo surfboards were made of solid wood, which made them extremely heavy. They were typically used only by the strongest and most athletic riders.
