We are working with Maggie and Rachel from MUVE to do exercises in the morning to excite the children to come to school and get ready for the learning during the day. We have MUVE dancing on Mondays and Thursdays - PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US!

Reid Kuba, Principal 4 days agoOur kids love it! They look forward to Muve dancing and getting focused for the day. Our teachers say that the kids get right to working when they get back to class and our attendance is improving! Thank you Maggie and Rachel!

Storm Drain Stenciling

The Palolo Elementary Student Council will undertake their annual storm-drain stenciling project on November 6, 2014. Students will stencil the message “Dump No Waste. Protect Our Waters…for Life. E Malama I Ka Wai Ota” to existing storm-drain access areas. The goal is to make the message, which has faded during the year, more visible. The students will also bring home the message that we need to be careful about what is washed down the drains because of the potential harm it may pose to the environment. With the recent news about illegal dumping in the manhole, this event and the message that it is trying to deliver is even more important.

Congratulations to this year's Ka lei’ike students! Each year, 10 Palolo Elementary girls will be chosen to go to summer school at Sacred Hearts Academy. Each cohort of girls will continue to go to summer school for the following 5 summers.
