Top Dog Trainer School Start your successful dog training business after our proven hands-on certification course in Hawaii. Free housing for students in May through August.

Our 21 day program includes hands-one training with over 30 dogs of all breeds and ages with an emphasis on a Balanced Obedience method. You will be given an overview of may training methods to give your dog training business success, from clicker-training to the Koehler method. You will also learn how to:

Breeds of dogs, temperament types and testing, and pack theory
How to read dog behavior and safely train aggressive or big dominant stubborn dogs
Training equipment and proper use (leashes, collars, head-harnesses, body-harnesses, electronic equipment, clickers)
Manage and maintain a kennel for dogs. Basic health care and when to seek a veterinarian
Breeding dogs and puppy rearing. You will also be taken through complete business formation for a US business (not available to Hawaii residents). We will give you step-by-step support for starting, promoting, insuring, and securing your dog training business. You will receive a a certificate of completion and personal support for your dog training business. Our goal is that upon your return home, your business is formed and listed on the internet and you can begin local marketing and making money doing a job that you love. The tuition is much less than the $30,000-$60,000 you would pay for a franchise. The tuition is paid directly to the Canine Coalition a non-profit that focuses on strengthening the human and canine bond, especially through service dog training.
