Mālama Monday 🐠 Mālama is swimming by with another sustainable habit that tackles microplastic pollution at the source.

Today’s sustainable habit: Keep your vehicle tires inflated 🛞

Improperly inflated tires can increase gas consumption and carbon emissions, and accelerate tire wear, which creates harmful plastic particles called “microplastics” that collect on roadways. When the next rain rolls in, it sweeps all microplastics off the road, down the storm drains, and straight into our ocean. Keeping your tires inflated saves your gas, your wallet, and our coral reefs!
