Our students are making waves beyond the classroom! 🌊 Artwork created by Assets School K–8 students was featured at a special community event at the Honolulu Museum of Art on July 19. Hosted by Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation, the event featured a screening of Jack Johnson’s SURFILMUSIC, bringing together art, film, and community to inspire environmental stewardship and sustainability. We’re so proud that our students’ artwork continues to share a meaningful message of environmental conservation and inspire positive change beyond our campus. 💙🌎

⛳✨ Alumni Mini Golf Night was a hole-in-one! Our alumni brought the fun (and some seriously impressive putting skills) to the course. It was so special to reconnect and see the incredible community that continues long after graduation. Mahalo to everyone who joined us!

What a summer of creativity at Art Academy! ✨🎨 Our young artists proudly shared the artwork they created during a special art show for parents and friends. Each piece was inspired by the Art Academy’s theme of ‘āina (land) and kai (sea). A huge mahalo to Ms. Avery for helping our students grow their confidence as artists. We’re so proud of all of our talented creators! 💙

Great Minds Academy has wrapped up an inspiring summer at Assets High School 🚀

Throughout the program, students explored real-world pathways in STEM and entrepreneurship by learning from professionals at organizations such as UH Mānoa's Institute for Astronomy, Chaminade University, Bowers + Kubota, Central Pacific Bank. Most recently we welcomed Assets Trustee Russell Lau, Chairman and CEO of Finance Factors Limited, who shared valuable insights on leadership, business, and innovation.

Mahalo to the many partners and speakers who helped bring this experience to life! We’re grateful for a community that shows up for our students in such meaningful ways.

Art Academy students are diving into creativity this summer through the lens of ʻāina and kai 🌿🌊 Inspired by Hawaiʻi’s natural beauty, they're exploring landscapes, shorelines, and seascapes with elements like feathers, plants, seashells, and marine debris.

Under the guidance of K–8 Art Teacher Ms. Avery, students are experimenting with a wide range of mediums too - including painting, printmaking, sculpture, and drawing. We love seeing their creativity come to life in so many unique ways!
