On October 27th, Law and Business Organization (LBO) members had the honor of learning from James Doane, Corporate Counsel to Costco Wholesale, who shared his presentation, “Embracing Your Values in a Corporate Lawyering Career.” Margaret Adams, former counsel to Microsoft, also made a special appearance! Both James and Margaret are long-standing Japan-focused lawyers from Seattle’s bar who pivoted mid-career to global level in-house legal work.
A huge thank you to Professor Mark Levin, our William S. Richardson School of Law Pacific-Asian Legal Studies(PALS) Program Director, for facilitating this outstanding conversation and connecting LBO members & William S. Richardson School of Law students with your amazing colleagues!
