The University of Hawai’i Board of Regents will be having a meeting on January 4, 9 am at the ITS building to discuss the purpose of the proposed Advisory Group to the Presidential Selection Committee. Students are requested to wear all black. Because of the broad impact this position has we request many people attend this meet and demand inclusion of students, faculty, staff, and community members in the selection committee.

The UH President has direct impact on these groups and the broader community here in Hawai’i and across the Pacific. This position has too broad of an impact to not have inclusion, transparency, and to value quality over expediency.

Feel free to stop by Campus Center 211A this Wednesday at 2 pm, as we host a sign-making event to prepare for the upcoming BoR meeting on the 4th, and a sign-waving prior to the meeting. Please see flyers for details.
