Aloha EWC participants,
2020 was a difficult year, and yet many of the burdens we carried are still with us coming into 2021. Even as there are signs of a better outcome for this year, these are still overwhelming times. It becomes even more important to reach out and build connections for mutual support even as this pandemic limits us to virtual spaces.
The IWG has partnered with the Reflections on the In-Between team to hold a writing workshop where the EWC community can come together, explore the common themes which shape our worlds, and express our hopes for the year ahead.
Please RSVP for the event by Feb 24th using this link: https://tinyurl.com/IWGIn-betweenWorkshop

Check it out!
Has quarantine inspired any creative writing? Looking for a creative outlet to express or document these surreal times? Come join EWC's In-Between Writing Workshop to brainstorm or workshop your piece for the In-Between publication. Whether you work in personal essay, poetry, creative nonfiction, articles, reports, social media posts, song lyrics, moʻolelo, etc., your vision and creative expression are important for us to document and publish. We hope to see you at the In-Between Writing Workshop.
This is a workshop inviting all members of the EWC community to submit their written pieces exploring the theme of the In-Between in the context of the 2020 global pandemic.
How has the in-between affected your mental and physical well-being, your home life, your loved ones, your decisions, your work, your studies, your community engagement, and your future planning? We invite you to consider these questions as a starting point and to write in whatever genre you feel best captures your thoughts and feelings.
Please RSVP here by Friday, November 20th and the Zoom link will follow.
