For the past three years, I’ve had the honor of coaching men and women from all over the world—ages 22 to 85, from every walk of life, and every socio-economic background—through both my own work and Heartcore Leadership (HCL).

And here’s what I’ve learned: leadership isn’t about where you come from, your title, or your circumstances. It’s about taking radical responsibility for your life and what you’re creating.

I’ve watched people from all corners of the globe step up, own their stories, and transform their lives in ways they never thought possible. They’ve rebuilt relationships, reignited dreams, and created futures they’re proud of—all by choosing to lead themselves first.

So, here’s my question for you: What are you creating in your life right now? And what’s one bold move you can make today to take ownership of it?

Today Miso, aka Boston, on the left, crossed the Rainbow Bridge 🥲

This is the picture from the day they were adopted. They came to me filthy, living on the streets and stunk to high heaven. These two were each others whole world.

They got adopted by a wonderful couple who have loved them continuously and became fast friends to me 🩵

The joys and sorrows of fostering. I received so much joy because I said yes to two filthy street dogs and today I mourn the loss of Miso on this plane and hold Bonzai, aka Hope in love as she has lost her forever brother.

Please foster, to know these two had 11.5 more years together because I said yes is reason enough. You will gain so much if you foster and save lives too.

Valentines Days has always been special to me, not because of it's commercial value but by it's symbol.

The heart 💗

Decades ago I read the scripture, "above all else guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life," and it has stayed with me. The symbol for my life is the heart and I've tried to live from my heart, follow my heart, soften my heart, and yes, guard my heart.

This year feels different, more expansive, more abundant, more joy, more love, more opportunities, more, more, more . . . my life feels like YES PLEASE I'LL HAVE MORE!

Today as we celebrate Valentine's Day, my request is to take two minutes, place your hands over your heart and breathe in all the love in your life, all the abundance you have, all you have created and all you will create in the coming years.

The doors are open to living your best life and it all starts from a heart full of gratitude.
