S***a Miyamoto — 3 Weeks in the U.S.! 🎾
With college in 2028 on the horizon, S***a spent three weeks in the U.S. exploring the possibility of becoming a student-athlete at U.S. College.
Although he still has some time before making his college decision, S***a is already taking his future seriously and working hard to balance both academics and tennis.
During his stay, he trained consistently at VDM, competed in two UTR tournaments 🎾, and had the opportunity to visit colleges and experience the U.S. college and tennis environment firsthand.
By the time he returned to Japan, it seemed that the possibility of studying and competing as a student-athlete in the U.S. had become much easier for him to picture. 🇺🇸✨
This experience was another valuable step in helping S***a

Congratulations to Sou Okada for being accepted into Davis and Elkins College (Division 2) in West Virginia for the fall of 2026! Sou visited the US in the fall of 2025 to experience and see first-hand what his future college career might be like. During that trip, he trained at the Van Der Meer Academy, played in 2 UTR events and visited many college campuses. This helped Sou determine what he wanted in a college, and after a lot of hard work in improving his Duolingo, he eventually committed to Davis and Elkins and Coach Victor Yanev! We wish you the best of luck Sou!

Congratulations to Kunanan “Puthi” Pantaratorn for committing to Dartmouth College for the fall of 2026! Getting admitted as a student-athlete to an Ivy League University is a tremendous honor and accomplishment. Our journey with Puthi and his family started in September of 2024 thanks to our collaboration with NextPick. Throughout the process, we explored a lot of options and listened to what was important to Puthi, and in the end, Puthi’s hard work both on and off the court paid off as he joins Coach Justin DeSanto and his staff this fall!
