Our 3rd grade students had an amazing time visiting Roper Mountain Science Center! We explored the fascinating world of animal habitats and survival traits while discovering how animals adapt to their environments. We journeyed through the rainforest and learned about the amazing animals that call it home. We traveled to the ocean to explore marine animals, observe their habitats and survival traits, and even had the opportunity to pet some of them!
To wrap up our adventure, we dug for fossils and discovered some pretty cool treasures! Today was filled with hands-on learning, exciting discoveries, and lots of fun!

Today, we’re giving a BIG thank you to the amazing custodial team at Hartwell Elementary! Our custodians work hard every day to keep our school clean, welcoming, and ready for our Bullpups to learn and grow.

From the early mornings to the late afternoon and all the little messes in between, we appreciate everything you do! Your hard work often happens behind the scenes, but it makes a HUGE difference in our school family.

Thank you for taking such great care of our school and our Bullpups! We are so grateful for each of you!

Our kindergarteners had a blast at the Shape Pizzeria today! They put their shape knowledge to work as they created their very own pizzas using different shapes.

Who knew learning about circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles could be this deliciously fun?!

We love seeing our Bullpups learn, create, and have fun while building their math skills!

Great job, kindergarten! You really know how to make learning SHAPE up!

HES was so excited to be part of the Hartwell Service League’s “Fall Into a Good Book” Book Giveaway today!

Our students were thrilled to choose a book to take home and enjoy. What better way to celebrate fall than by falling into a great book!

A HUGE THANK YOU to the Hartwell Service League for your generosity and for helping put books into the hands of our Bullpups! Your support helps grow a love of reading and makes a difference in the lives of our students.

In October, SKIP will build skills while learning about community helpers. Yesterday, they were “bakers” and “made cookies” with cookie cutters and paint.
