What does it take to truly advance pediatric and neonatal vascular access with ultrasound?
It’s more than access to education.
It requires standardized training, clinical mentorship, and real-world experience—delivered in a way that translates directly to patient care.
That’s why PICC Excellence, Inc. has partnered with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to establish a Center of Excellence for Pediatric and Neonatal PICC and vascular access training.
This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice through a blended learning model that includes:
• Evidence-based online education
• Focused didactic review
• Simulation-based skill development with ultrasound
• Observation of live patient insertions with an expert pediatric team
Importantly, the program emphasizes individualized, one-on-one instruction and flexible scheduling, recognizing that competency is not one-size-fits-all.
As vascular access continues to evolve, so must the way we prepare clinicians. Programs like this represent a shift toward competency-based development, standardization of practice, and improved patient outcomes across care settings.
Limited enrollment is now available for clinicians seeking to advance pediatric and neonatal vascular access expertise.
