Last night was a PHENOMENAL start to another marching band season as we debuted a Marching Phantom original, “Phenomenal Fanfare!”

Composed by Director of Bands Mr. Edgar T. Rawles, III, “Phenomenal Fanfare” weaves together musical phrases from beloved Phoebus traditions, including the Phoebus High School Alma Mater and Fight Song, while incorporating sounds and themes inspired by two collegiate band programs that have played an important role in the history of the Marching Phantoms: Hampton University and Norfolk State University.

Rooted in tradition. Inspired by legacy. Built for the future.

Prepare yourself for something PHENOMENAL this season!

Huge Shoutout to Mayor Jimmy Gray for coming out and supporting our Annual Car Wash sponsored by our Band Boosters! It’s not too late to come see us! We will be here at the school until 3:00 pm! All funds raised today will go towards another Phenomenal Season!

New music. New memories. New goals. Same Phantom Pride. 💙💛

Whether you’re returning to continue the legacy or joining the Phamily for the first time, this is where the season begins. Come ready to work, grow, and create something special.

Leadership, Drumline, and Full Band Camp schedules are posted above. Auxiliary members should continue conditioning throughout the summer and communicate with coaches for additional rehearsals.
