We have some Teen Leaders out on vacation, however we have 25 students from Carrollton, Hampton, Newport News, Suffolk, Isle of White, and York County Virginia, Baltimore, MD, Detroit, MI, and a foreign exchange student from Paris, France.

Our Teen Leaders receive instruction on how to read to younger children. The Young Achievers came to visit for this activity. Our Teen Leaders will be reading to primary students with the SPARK program in a couple weeks.

Teen Leaders went on a field trip to Laurel Lane Elementary in Williamsburg and received a great lesson on Overcoming Barriers from Principal Karen Swann.

Our Teen Leaders visited the Norfolk FBI headquarters. They learned cyber security, think before you post, and what to do when you get stopped by a police officer.

Our first guest speaker was Kourtney Chinnery, a Penn State Gymnast. Her inspiring message reminded the Teen Leaders to keep their faith in God as they strive for their goals, and to never give up.
