Over the years, I have experienced my own personal struggles with depression, thoughts of su***de, anxiety, alcohol dependency, weight gain, and divorce. I constantly felt trapped in a cycle that I could not break. It was not until I had a near death experience and read the book, The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment by Eckhart Tolle, that I gained a higher perspective. I learned to not identify with the mind and to accept the present moment. I began a daily spiritual practice of meditation and reciting mindful mantras to create stillness within and heal my inner self. The clarity I had been seeking in life was finally revealed and I felt a deep inner peace. I now wake up each day with gratitude and fully empowered. I embody self-care through taking quiet moments to myself, reading books for self-growth, working out, spending time in nature, and simply just being present in each moment. I know now that my purpose here is to use the wisdom I have gained through my experiences to help improve the lives of others. All my teachings come from my own personal life experiences and the practices that have proven to help me in becoming the best version of myself and attaining inner peace.
