🧚‍♀️✨ THE PTA WISH FAIRY STRIKES AGAIN! ✨🧚‍♀️

We are SO excited to thank for becoming our very first business sponsor - and they came in BIG! 🦁💙

They completely cleared the wishlists for all THREE of our new classroom teachers! 🎉

✨ Mrs. Guillory is getting a comfy small-group chair AND tennis ball chair covers for all of her students’ chairs to help keep classroom noise down.

✨ Ms. Neal is getting new stools for her students to use at small group, plus organizers that hang on the backs of their chairs.

✨ Mrs. Hill is getting an anchor chart rack AND a small refrigerator for her classroom!

That’s three new Armstrong teachers starting their year with some much-wanted classroom upgrades - all because a local business chose to invest in our teachers and students. ❤️

There’s nothing like a little sidewalk magic to kick off a brand-new school year! 🦁🖍️✨

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out for Chalk the Walk today and helped us cover Armstrong with colorful messages, drawings, and words of encouragement for our Lions! 💙💛

Tomorrow those sidewalks will welcome our students and staff back and remind them just how many people are cheering them on.

Help us chalk the walk today! We’ll be at the school from 2-3pm and then we will shift over to the Wythe Pool from 3-5pm for a social and PTA meeting to cool off. Not a pool member? No problem! We’re taking care if your guest fee.

What a great way to kick off a new school year! 🦁💙

We loved getting to meet some of our newest Lions and seeing so many familiar faces again! There’s something special about seeing our Armstrong community come back together after summer. 🥰

We’re excited, we’re ready, and we can’t wait to start the year off right on Monday! 📚✏️

✨ OUR FIRST WISH HAS BEEN GRANTED! ✨

We’re so excited to kick off our Grant a Teacher’s Wish initiative by granting our very first wish (a standing desk and drafting chair) to Mrs. Miller - Hampton City School’s very own Teacher of the Year! 🦁💙

We wanted to get things started and show just how exciting it can be to turn a teacher’s wish into a reality. Now, we’re hoping our Armstrong families, friends, neighbors, and community partners will help us keep the wishes coming! ✨

Every donation — whether it’s $5, $25, or enough to fund an entire wish — gets us closer to putting something special into another Armstrong classroom.

🪄✨ LET’S GRANT OUR FIRST WISHES! ✨🪄

We’re kicking off our Teacher Wish Project with three very special teachers—our NEW classroom teachers at Armstrong! 🦁❤️

🍎 Mrs. Guillory — Kindergarten
✏️ Mrs. Hill — 2nd Grade
📚 Ms. Neal — 3rd Grade

What better way to welcome them than by showing them exactly what the Armstrong community is all about?

We did the math, and here’s the exciting part:

💫 $425 WILL BUY EVERY. SINGLE. THING. ON THEIR WISH LISTS. 💫

That means three teachers starting their Armstrong journey feeling supported and appreciated—and more than 70 students whose classrooms will be blessed by these gifts!

We can absolutely do this. $5, $10, $25, $50…it all adds up. When our Armstrong families, friends and community come together, little donations can make a BIG impact. ❤️

Our goal is $425.
Our goal is three completely fulfilled wish lists.
And then? We move on to the next teachers! 🪄✨

✨🪄 Introducing the Armstrong PTA Teacher Wish Project! 🪄✨

What if you could be a teacher’s fairy godparent for the day?

This year, we asked our teachers a simple question: “If you had a PTA fairy and money were no object, what would you wish for?”

Their answers surprised us - not because they were extravagant, but because they weren’t. They wished for things like flexible seating, fidget toys and sensory tools, classroom equipment, and even a printer so they wouldn’t have to spend their evenings printing materials at home.

And that got us thinking: Maybe these wishes aren’t so impossible after all. 💫

So we’re launching our Teacher Wish Project and asking our amazing Armstrong community to help us make a little magic! Donate $5, $10, $25 - or whatever feels right. We’ll pool every contribution together and use it to grant as many teacher and staff wishes as we can.

And the best part? We’ll share each wish as it’s granted so you can see exactly what our community made possible. ❤️

Local businesses can join in, too, with special recognition opportunities for donations of $100+.
