Today, members of the Kecoughtan Community (teachers, students and staff) participated in the annual HCS Run for the Stage 5K! We had a blast 💥 check out the footage…..and a special treat - Ms. Richardson sang the to kick off the RACE!

Believe it or not, your senior year will be here before you know it! Make sure you have a wonderful senior portrait for the Yearbook by booking your session now. Booking a senior portrait session is an important first step in celebrating your final year of high school!

This year, Kecoughtan is partnering with CADY for senior portraits. For more than 25 years, CADY has served schools with a distinctive approach to senior photography, combining state-of-the-art studios, premier customer service, and the artistry to capture each senior’s unique story.

We will be offering two sessions at Kecoughtan this summer for senior portraits: July 8 and August 11. If you prefer, you can visit the CADY studio at 535 Independence Parkway in Chesapeake for your portrait session.

Senior year is busy, so we recommend booking your session this summer. CADY offers session options to fit every family’s needs. These portraits are a perfect way to capture your achievement and can be used for graduation announcements, social posts, and more. Remember to book early! We can’t stress this enough. CADY’s calendar fills up fast and weekend spots are always the first to go.

3) The KHS Geometry Team will host a prep session for students who will take the Geometry SOL 📐- Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance!!!

4) Tomorrow is school Lunch Hero Day - we send our love and appreciation to our lunch heroes who ensure our students (and staff) are well fed with appropriate nutrition!
