Eaton was recognized for its Band and Chorus programs from the VA Music Educators Association as a Blue Ribbon School. Additionally, the Eaton Band was also recognized as a Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association Program of Honor.

Congratulations to our support employee of the year, Mrs. Dickens! She was recognized at tonight’s School Board meeting. Eaton is lucky to have her.

Our 8th Graders enjoyed a beautiful day at Bush Gardens over the weekend!

The Eaton Chorus did an incredible job at their Spring concert earlier this week. We are so proud of them!

Eaton students proudly represented our school at the Boys for the Win 2026 event hosted by Junior Achievement of Greater Hampton Roads at Hampton University. This program connected young men with accomplished professionals in a variety of fields, including STEM, finance, and skilled trades.

Congratulations to Nyshena Dickens, our support employee of the year! Ms. Dickens plays many roles at Eaton, including helping ensure our students’ attendance needs are met. We are lucky to have her!

Eaton students Bobby Eaton and Roy Stith, Jr. placed first in the Master Plan 2.0 8th Grade Capstone Presentations with their presentation, “Flood App in Hampton Roads!”

Additionally, Anthony Williams Jr. & Faith Gilmore place third with their presentation, “Representation Matters!”

Congratulations to the Eaton Concert Band for earning Superior Ratings at VBODA State Band Assessment! This fine group of students not only put in a tremendous amount of hard work, but also dug deep and performed from the heart. They were surrounded by a wonderful support system and SOARED!

Thank you to Mr. Lancaster for guest directing them and allowing them to have the opportunity to participate in Mrs. Farrell's unexpected absence.

Thank you also to Mr. Dee, Mr. Bane, Mrs. Hare, Mrs. Goodman, Mrs. Trevathan, Mrs. Ranger, Mrs. Shivers and all of the amazing band parents for their incredible effort and support.

This weekend our Cheerleading team traveled from Hampton, Virginia to Greensboro, North Carolina to compete in the National Black Cheerleading Championship, representing Eaton with pride.

After months of hard work and preparation, our athletes delivered an incredible main floor performance, earning 2nd place in their division on the national stage.

We are so proud of our Eaton Eagles Cheerleaders under the leadership of Coach Prince for their dedication, teamwork, and the way they represented our school!🦅💚
