We released our butterflies this week while the sun was out. Such a magical experience! There is something truly special about watching that transformation—it’s one of those rare moments where nature feels like a real-life science fiction movie happening right in your living room (or classroom).

For children, seeing the "patience" of the chrysalis stage followed by that final, vibrant payoff is usually a memory that sticks for a long time. It’s a beautiful way to teach them about growth, change, and letting go.

Our Preschool Board started Teacher Appreciation Week with a lovely lunch today♥️

It’s National Picnic Day!!! So what does the Superstars do…..we PICNIC!!!

Family Friday is about strengthening the connection between children, their families, and their learning community. Here are some meaningful and fun ways children can celebrate:

💡Family Traditions Show & Tell: Share items or stories that represent special traditions.

These activities help children feel valued, strengthen home–school connections, and celebrate the important role families play in early learning.

Artsy Thursday is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore creativity and self-expression through hands-on experiences. Here are some engaging ways to celebrate:
🎨Open-Ended Art Stations: Provide materials like paint, markers, clay, and recycled items for children to create freely.
🖌Collaborative Mural: Work together on a large class artwork that reflects a shared theme or story.
🍂Nature Art: Use leaves, sticks, and flowers to make collages or sculptures.
👨‍🎨Process Art Activities: Focus on the experience (mixing colors, textures) rather than the final product.
🕺Music & Movement Art: Paint or draw while listening to music, letting rhythm inspire creativity.
👷Build & Create: Use blocks, boxes, or loose parts to design imaginative structures.
📖Story-Inspired Art: Create artwork based on a favorite book or story.
👪Family Art Connection: Send home a simple art activity for families to complete together.
