🚨Hampton Human Services Update: Governor Youngkin has declared a state of emergency to provide urgent hunger relief for Virginians as the federal shutdown ends Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits starting Nov. 1.

Here’s what Hampton residents need to know:
🔹Stretch your SNAP benefits—focus on essentials & double your dollars on fresh produce with Virginia Fresh Match.
🔹 Check your EBT balance at www.ConnectEBT.com or use the ConnectEBT app.
🔹 For food assistance, contact Virginia Peninsula Foodbank (www.hrfoodbank.org | 757-596-7188), call 2-1-1 Virginia, or visit www.211Virginia.org. Residents can also contact Hampton Healthy Families at 757-727-1300 for additional family support resources.
