UPDATE! Hey class of 96 GHS friends! We’re starting to think about our 30 year reunion. Yikes! Looking at the weekend of November 6 - Friday night there is a home football game - Galt High vs. Liberty Ranch. Saturday, November 7 in the afternoon, we’re looking at a reunion at Wilson Family Winery, in support of classmate Max Wilson. Stay tuned for more details and as soon as I confirm with the winery, I’ll post a save the date!

For those of you who haven't heard, a Galt legend passed away recently. Thoughts go out to the Hatzenbuler family.

Erv Hatzenbuhler, the former longtime Galt High School football coach called by “Papa” by his players and “Hatz” by coaching peers will be celebrated in a memorial Friday night at the field that bears his name. He died at home in his sleep Thursday morning at age 85.

Not sure if anyone had this figured out, but c/o 96 grad, Carin Shreve, broke a Guinness World Record for number of straight hours of TV watched. Article below. Apparently though, we have another classmate, Albert Strohmaier, who's dog has set a world record for being the oldest in the world of its kind.
