Last photos from the trip! What an amazing 6 days with these fabulous students! We loved seeing them make new friends and have the times of their lives! You know it’s a good trip when the kids ask to stay another few days! This will be remembered as one of the most amazing trips ever!

National Cathedral, The White House and then Natural History Museum. Once again, these kids were AWESOME!!!!!!

We started our day at the beautiful National Cathedral. A non-denominational Gothic Cathedral funded entirely by private donations. We were treated to a tour by Clift, the son of one of the stone carvers of the cathedral.

Photos from the Saudi Arabian Embassy from earlier this week. We learned about the climate, geography, economy, and culture of Saudi Arabia. Students volunteered to model various traditional outfits, reflecting different regions, weather, and occasions. The Embassy gave every student a green Saudi Arabia hat.

Part 3 of Thursday:

Vietnam War Memorial, MLK Memorial and the Ferris Wheel near the hotel to end the night. Finished with cupcakes from the famous Georgetown Cupcakes.

Air and Space Museum, Korean War Memorial, Lincoln Memorial. A lot of pictures for you to discuss the trip with your student when they get back as well.

A little photo drop of yesterday’s activities and fun we had in Washington DC. We started at the US Institute of Peace, then over to Iwa Jima and African American History Museum. It was a busy day. Kids have been awesome!!!!

Our final stops were the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, and MLK Jr Memorial, before dinner. We ended our last night with a ride on the National Harbor Wheel and Georgetown Cupcakes from Workshop’s CEO Tom Crosson.
