DONATIONS NEEDED — Help Make Our 3rd Annual Walk-a-Thon a Success! 🎉

We’re excited to be preparing for Visions in Motion’s 3rd Annual Walk-a-Thon, and we’re looking for donations to help us create some AMAZING raffle/auction baskets for this year’s event! 💙

Our Walk-a-Thon is a special day that brings together our participants, families, staff, friends, and community to celebrate and support the incredible adults with developmental disabilities we are honored to serve.

We would be so grateful for donations of new items, gift cards, services, experiences, or complete baskets. No donation is too small — we can combine individual items to create some really fun baskets!

Some ideas include:

When Heart of JB reached out this week asking if we could help with their backpack drive, our clients didn't hesitate—they said YES! 🎒❤️

Today, our amazing crew packed 500 backpacks that we filled with school supplies that will be distributed to children in need. As always, our clients jumped right in and completed the entire project in just one day!

We are so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and willingness to give back to our community. Thank you, Heart of JB, for allowing Visions in Motion to be a part of such a worthwhile cause. Together, we're helping students start the school year with confidence! 💙📚

Mid‑July 2026 already! FB friends, family, and business associates, we’re just 3 months away from our ONE and ONLY fundraiser - VIM 3rd Annual Walk‑A‑Thon on October 10th at District56 in Elk Grove. This year is extra special because we’re celebrating our 10th anniversary of providing service to adults with developmental disabilities! If you haven’t registered to walk, sponsored or donated yet, please take a moment to do so today or very soon.

This event is so important to us because it not only supports our program, but also our newest nonprofit, NoLimitz Recreation, which helps us serve adults who aren’t able to attend our daily program. The Aktion Club, a service group where our participants volunteer and give back to the community is also a beneficiary of this event. Please join us and help make this our best event yet! Today we got to volunteer at the Kiwanis Family House in Sacramento. We helped clean kitchens, wipe down door k***s and do some landscaping. It was a great day. So thankful we get to serve at such a wonderful non-profit organization dedicated to helping others during medical crisis.
