Elk Grove Unified School District provides a safe, peaceful and healthy environment for all students and staff and supporting collaboration with diverse communities and families. EGUSD celebrates the accomplishments of people who identify as LGBTQ+, and works to create a respectful, caring and inclusive culture for all within the school district community. Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Q***r (LGBTQ+) Pride Month is celebrated each year in June, and Pride Month honors the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan and celebrates the many contributions of LBGTQ+ individuals, respecting the talent, creativity and positive impact to our communities. Although various advancements have been made with respect to equitable treatment of LGBTQ+ persons throughout the nation, LGBTQ+ persons still face discrimination simply for being who they are, thus making it important for districts like Elk Grove Unified to stand up and show support for our students and families who are affected.

Congratulations to the CyberPatriot teams at Toby Johnson Middle School and Franklin High School! The Franklin High Wildcats placed 2nd at the CyberPatriot XV National Championship and the Toby Johnson Jaguars placed 3rd.
