DACC has several dogs in the shelter that need to go through heartworm treatment. Unfortunately, a shelter environment is not the place for that to happen. Our kennels are over capacity and we would love to see these dogs have their chance at finding their forever homes.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

We need FOSTER parents! By committing to giving a dog a quiet space in your home for 1-2 months, you are saving lives! We are able to get a dog the treatment they need - and open a kennel in our facility for another dog in need. We supply all food, supplies and medications for our dogs while they are in foster.
