The Minnesota Winter Retreat for Writers, a sister program of the PSP, will run from January 26th to February 2nd.

We have extended the deadline to January 15th.

Retreat includes full room and board and gentle guidance (only if wanted) from Richard Katrovas, who will also be working on site.

The Scout Institute aims to create spaces conducive to the gathering and personal development of people of all generations. Their gorgeous historical building is an oasis in the hectic and commercial center of Prague. We couldn’t have hoped for a more inspiring location for our writers!

Ella Katrovasová, the 2024 Prague Summer Program coordinator, has redesigned the PSP website (praguesummer.com). Please note the following pricing:

Base price: $2,200

$1,800 if recommended by any past participant of the PSP
$1,500 if recommended by anyone who has taught in the PSP
$1,200 if you attended the PSP at any time in the past thirty years
$800 if you are a matriculating graduate or undergraduate student at Western Michigan University

We are in the process of reimagining the PSP for 2025 and beyond, and regard 2024 as a transition year. In order to run a strong, intimate session this cycle, we have a minimum of eight additional slots to fill over the coming six weeks.

Please inform students and colleagues of our fabulous pricing, and of our commitment to facilitating life-changing experiences for serious writers of creative prose and verse.
