Kinematic Wolves

On Wednesday, we attended Neinas Family STEM Night! We showed the middle schoolers how our robot Papoy works by walking them through the parts, sensors and letting them feed the intake and showing them how it shoots! We also taught them briefly about FIRST and how their school has a robotics team that they can join!

Day Three of the Houston
Championship is completed!!!

Today the Wolves played five matches and had one win and four losses. All though the Wolves had some challenges, we kept calm and persevered through them.

Today was also a very special day for the Wolves, we celebrated two birthdays on the team!! Our human player Marcelo and our mentor Richard!!!

The Wolves had a great time with Molex learning the step by step process on how to tool with various different wires! We were generously gifted a Molex Hand Tool Kit! Thank you Molex!

We Qualified For Worlds!! At the FIRST Michigan State Championship on Saturday, we were honored to win the FIRST Impact Award.

The FIRST Impact Award honors the team that champions the spirit of FIRST by transforming our culture and going beyond the robot. There are over 500 teams across the state, and we were one of five recognized for our leadership and advocacy for STEM access for all, especially our constant support of the Detroit FIRST community.
