The Detroit Jesuit Community and Detroit Jesuit Ministries will host an evening celebrating the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola and 150 years of Jesuit Ministries in Detroit on Friday, July 31.

The event will take place in Ss. Peter and Paul Jesuit Church, adjacent to School of Law's Riverfront Campus.

The University's Faces on Design program, which pairs nursing and engineering students with clients to help solve real-life mobility challenges, was recently featured on WDIV Local 4 / ClickOnDetroit's Live in the D.

Nursing professor Molly McClelland, recent Mechanical Engineering grad Colin Gaddey '26 and Bobbi Stevens were on hand to talk all about the program and how it has assisted many such as Stevens.

At just 6 years old, Cayden Brown sat in a courtroom feeling unheard. Today, he’s helping children around the world find their voice. 📖✨

Brown, who just recently finished his freshman year at Detroit Mercy, is an award-winning activist, public speaker, and CEO of The Trespass Project, a global nonprofit that helps youth access and navigate the legal system.

A Criminal Justice major, Brown recently published "The Kid in the Courtroom," a children’s picture book inspired by his own experience navigating the legal system as a child.
