Anny Staten is the Assistant Director here at the Apple Developer Academy, where she plays a central leadership role in advancing the Academy’s mission to equip learners with the skills needed to thrive in the global app economy.

With a strong foundation in education and adult learning, Anny returned to the Academy in 2021 and has since been instrumental in shaping a collaborative, learner-centered environment. Her background includes formal training in education and experience working across diverse learning contexts, from early childhood education to technical training for adult learners. At the Academy, she focuses on empowering individuals to explore technology, deepen their technical and creative capabilities, and transform ideas into real-world solutions.

In her role, Anny works closely with students, faculty, and industry partners to support instructional excellence, foster inclusive participation, and ensure that learners have the guidance and resources needed to succeed. She regularly represents the Academy in community discussions, emphasizing the importance of accessible tech education and nurturing the next generation of developers and entrepreneurs.
