TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. — Dr. Mert Aksu, dean of the School of Dentistry, joined dental leaders from across Michigan last week for a "Meet the Deans" event hosted by the Resort District Dental Society at Bonobo Winery.

The event gave attendees an opportunity to connect, share ideas and celebrate the people shaping the future of dentistry and dental education in Michigan.

Last week, alumni and colleagues gathered at Bonobo Winery in Traverse City for the annual Resort District Dental Society Dean’s Reception, hosted by the Resort District Dental Society.

It was a wonderful evening of reconnecting, catching up with colleagues and friends, and celebrating the Detroit Mercy Dental community.
