Wayne State University’s A.G.R.E.E.D. Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) is proud to partner once again with the ParentingUp! podcast, hosted by comedian and dementia advocate J Smiles, to promote brain health awareness throughout the month of June.
This special Detroit-based podcast series highlights the voices of individuals living with dementia, family care partners, healthcare professionals, and community organizations dedicated to improving brain health and dementia care across our communities.
The 2026 Brain Health Detroit series has been spearheaded by Lambda Chi Chapter member Dr. Cynthera McNeilll, DNP, APRN, AGPCNP-C, FAANP, Associate Professor (Clinical) and AGNP–Primary Care Specialty Coordinator in the Wayne State University College of Nursing.
