Searching for Telos Searching for Telos seeks to offer opportunities for children to engage in Philosophy in Michigan.

This effort is to create mental habits that enable to the child to acquire knowledge, explore ideas, listen deeply and form sound judgements for themselves. Searching for Telos is a Project that seeks to offer opportunities for children to engage in Communities of Inquiry in Detroit, Michigan. The inquiry circles are not about teaching about the views or lives of Philosophers rather it is equippin

g children with tools of thinking. The Project leans on the work of Matthew Lipman and training from the Institute for the Advancement of Philosophy for Children.
