Our 1st year MLS students and Physician Assistant students for an Interprofessional Education event including two case studies. Our MLS showed the PA students how to run a urinalysis, make slides for a hematology stain, and performed a laboratory kit to test for strep throat. The PA students described the patient’s symptoms and antibiotics for treatment for a UTI and strep throat.
