Springwells Village will be sponsoring students to attend the Ben Carson event at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church on April,11 ,3013 from 6:00p.m to 8:30p.m. Springwells will pay for your ticket and transportation. All we need is for you or anyone that may be interested to attend the event.
Ben Carson is a Professional Neurosurgery, Oncology, Plastic Surgery and Pediatrics at John Hopkins University. Dr. Carson grew up in a single parent home in the Urban Detroit Neighborhood who mother encouraged her children to achieve excellence even while struggling and limited resources. His story as told in the book and film Gifted Hands, will inspire Detroit Youth, and those who care about them to overcome the barriers that they face and strive for excellence.

If you know anyone that may want to apply for the Detroit Tigers Foundation Scholarship founded by The Magglio Ordonez Family please click on the link www.cfsem.org/scholarships . The scholarship is for students in the Southeast Michigan environment. Also students who has been accepted as a full-time student at a Public, Private College or University in the Unites States could apply.
The Ordonez Family scholarship is $2,500 and can be renewable up to three years- which is a value of over $10,000 over four years of college.
