SACD, UDM 2025 Lecture, as part of the School of Architecture and Community Development 2025 Lecture Series.
Oriana presented “Parque Coral de Volcadero: A Case Study on the
Transformative Power of Architecture” and shared with us the methodology of EDIT studio, an innovative method that proposes the intersection of participatory design, moving knowledge and design build employed in the Volcadero Project.
Her words reminded us to find space and time for transformation and reflection through participatory design.

Echo’s return is an abstraction standing in place of the original call, a memory transformed, interpreted, and reimagined. Dichotomy 29 explores the intersection and overlapping of multiple perspectives, and reflects on how our actions echo the voices of others. It invites designers, creative thinkers and activists to question past visions of the present, and to project and critique imagined futures. The call of Echo is for anyone willing to listen and open to receive.
